During a public performance test, The Open Network (TON) broke the record for the most transactions per second (TPS).

In one second, the network processed
104655 transactions.

The experiment was also monitored by CertiK, an analytics company.

Bitfinex has been placed on a list of companies that advertise financial services or products without authorization from the UK’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).

The FCA stated that users should not deal with this company.

Saudi Arabia-based investment fund NEOM plans to invest $50 million in Animoca Brands.

Notably, NEOM is funded by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund and is led by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

Animoca Brands will help develop various corporate products in the region.

The UK government has published a document on the regulation of stablecoins.

According to the document, the law is scheduled to be implemented in 2024. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) will act as the regulator of stablecoins.

It is noteworthy that the government does not plan to regulate algorithmic steiblcoins, but it is not going to ban them either. They will be subject to the same requirements as unsecured cryptoassets.
