According to Arkham Analytica, the trading company Alameda Research liquidated for $1 million.
The company originally had 9,000 ETH worth $10.8 million in its account, with $20 million in collateral and $4 million in DAI.
The account had a net balance of $15.2 million.
However, Arkham’s January 14 report says that 1.2 USDC was liquidated for 731 ETH. And the account itself was reduced by someone.
The account currently has a $1.1 million short position in ETH against $1.14 million and a net balance of $300,000.
“Surprisingly, transactions from the wallet were made before and during liquidation, indicating that whoever controlled the wallet either couldn’t figure out how to close the positions or simply didn’t want to,” the company said.
On Jan. 12, the company was liquidated for $72,000.
