Ant Financial (AliPay) company developed and tested the first service for cross-border payments based on blockchain using a digital wallet. The first payment between AliPayHK (Hong Kong) and GCash (Philippines) was done within just 3 seconds. This means, that one of the largest payment systems of Alibaba Group is now widely integrating blockchain in their business and encourages the use of such technology in the payment industry.
