Financial regulators have given the green light to Australia’s first bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) from Cosmos Asset Management to launch on April 27. According to the Australian Financial Review, the new fund could see inflows of up to $1 billion.
The ETF will be listed on the CBOE Australia exchange with the approval of clearing house Clear Capital Markets.
The Cosmos Bitcoin ETF offers indirect access to spot investments through the Canadian Bitcoin ETF.
