According to the Kommersant newspaper, the Presidium of the Council of the Association of Banks of Russia (ADB) has created a center of expertise on digital financial assets and digital currencies.
Olga Goncharova, GR-Director of Binance in Russia and the CIS, was appointed head of the center. The exchange will participate in the organization through its division BN KZ Technologies Limited.
The main task of the center of expertise will be the preparation of professional opinions on the circulation of digital financial assets and digital currencies.
“We are creating an Expert Council for the future and have high hopes with the arrival of Olga Alexandrovna. She has big plans to carry out an examination of the turnover of digital currencies, to organize events on this topic. And in our opinion, this is a good candidate to head a platform where the expert community could discuss approaches to regulation and development of digital financial assets,” said ADB President Georgy Luntovsky.
Olga Goncharova became the head of Binance in January, before that she headed the collection and processing department of the Bank of Russia for 7 years.
