Exchange’s CEO Zhao Changpeng confirmed company’s move to Malta in order to set up an office in the European Union, as they feel that Malta is the ideal technological and regulatory environment to support Binance’s future growth. As a knock-off effect of such relocation, EU is now acquiring its best-known cryptocurrency business to date, which was previously confined mainly to Asia and US. In addition, Eastern European countries also continue to host world’s popular exchanges, such as Bitstamp, and Japanese BitFlyer announced its plans to enter the EU market in January.
