Binance will allow institutional investors to place collateral assets on cold wallets

Home / Binance will allow institutional investors to place collateral assets on cold wallets

The Binance exchange will allow institutional investors to place collateral assets in Binance Custody. The platform will store assets offline in cold wallets.

Collateral assets are used for leveraged trading.
The use of cold storage wallets means that users will be able to continue to trade during choppy sessions without massive outflows in the exchange. Once a trade is closed, the assets will be available to platform users again.
