Crypto exchange Binance announced that it will not support Litecoin network (LTC) transactions that use the MimbleWimble Extension Blocks (MWEB) update.
On May 20, Litecoin developers activated the MWEB protocol, which allows confidential transactions.
Binance warned that transferring funds using the privacy feature threatens users with loss of funds because the exchange will not be able to identify the recipient and the sender.
Earlier, a number of South Korean exchanges delisted LTC due to the MWEB update.
