The energy giant British Petroleum says that it’s already tested tokens of the projects that are doing initial coin offerings internally. The technology director for BP’s digital innovation organization Julian Gray said that in his opinion, the non-financial enterprises are more open to blockchain innovation than financial services companies: “We haven’t done anything with public chains yet. But that doesn’t mean we won’t. We have done proof of concepts using tokens internally, transferring value.”
