This update will let users withdraw assets associated with Bitcoin Forks across all Coinbase products more easily. Coinbase developers said that they will work to support future bitcoin forks on its Coinbase Custody product and this platform will support more forked assets than GDAX or Coinbase for the foreseeable future. In addition, the company noted that in the future users will be able to add assets to GDAX without adding them to Coinbase.
