The Coinbase exchange has launched an open competition for all NFT owners from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection to collect tokens to produce a movie called “The Dengen Trilogy.”
According to the film’s website, NFT owners selected through the casting process will receive a license fee of $10,000 in Apecoin or bitcoin.
The first episode of the film will be released at the NFT NYC conference, June 20-23.
The film is set in the 2020s in midtown Manhattan, when digital goods and services first surpassed all other metrics in the marketplace.
“At Coinbase, we are committed to creating and supporting content projects that speak directly to our community and support a culture of Web3 innovation,” said Coinbase Entertainment Director William Swann.
