China’s state-run newspaper Legal Daily published an article reporting that some of the country’s corrupt officials are using cold storage cryptocurrency, hard drives and network drives for their schemes.
Officials use such methods to move assets out of the country and then transfer them.

According to Legal Daily, such activities are extremely difficult to stop due to lagging technology and legislation.
