Crypto-exchange BlockchainCom has begun talks with U.S. banks to see how they can conduct an initial public offering (IPO) of the company as early as this year.
According to Bloomberg, the talks were just preliminary conversations and the tech startup’s plans could change at any time.
If the company manages to IPO, it will become the second crypto exchange in the U.S. to achieve this. In 2021, Coinbase became the first publicly traded crypto exchange, its valuation then was $100 billion.
BlockchainCom is now valued at about $14 billion.
