The CryptoCom exchange has hired Ruland Van der Stappen, head of regulatory affairs for Visa Europe, as its new vice president of policy and engagement for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
“I look forward to immersing myself in cryptocurrency and Web3 policy issues and starting to share all the great things my colleagues are working on,” he wrote on LinkedIn.
Van der Stappen has led regulatory affairs for Visa in Europe for the past 3.5 years. Prior to that, he served as Barclay’s vice president of public policy and public affairs.
