The nonprofit Ethereum Foundation said it holds more than $1.6 billion in treasury assets.
Almost $1.29 billion is held by the company in Ethereum. That amount represents more than 0.297% of the total asset on the market as of March 31.
About $11 million of the fund’s funds are placed in other cryptocurrencies, and another $300 million is held by the company in non-cryptocurrency assets.
“We are also increasing our non-cryptocurrency savings, in response to rising ETH prices. This provides more headroom for our core budget and will allow us to continue to fund non-core, highly leveraged projects during market downturns,” the fund said in the report.
The fund’s spending on the Ethereum ecosystem in 2021 was $48 million.
