Yuga Labs, the creator of the NFT collection Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC), has announced that former Activision Blizzard (ATVI) president and COO Daniel Alegre will become the new CEO of Yuga Labs in 2023.
“Throughout my career, I have sought to create breakthrough and innovative platforms that provide long-term value to consumers. Web3 provides an opportunity to reinvent the way we use, share and own content around the world,” said Alegre.
To date, one of the company’s major projects is the Otherside meta-universe.
