West Realm Shires Services, owner and operator of FTX US, announced the upcoming launch of FTX Stocks, a stock trading service that will be available directly through the FTX US trading app.
The new platform will include trading and investing in hundreds of stocks listed on U.S. exchanges, including common stocks and exchange-traded funds.
According to the announcement, FTX Stocks will be the first platform that will allow retail investors to fund their accounts with fiat-backed stabelcoins.
The FTX Stocks platform will initially be available in a closed beta testing phase for select U.S. customers selected from a waiting list. The platform will also route all orders through Nasdaq to ensure transparent trade execution and fair pricing.
“With the launch of FTX Stocks, we have created a single integrated platform for retail investors to easily trade cryptocurrency, NFT and traditional stock offerings through a transparent and intuitive user interface,” said FTX US President Brett Harrison.
