Blockchain platform Harmony announced the launch of Passports for NFTs from the Bored Ape Yacht Club collection. The Passport will allow users to import proof of NFT ownership into the DeFi game Kingdoms, which is based on Harmony’s blockchain.
In the initial stages, NFT owners will be able to verify and display their assets in the game on multiple blockchains when connecting the MetaMask wallet to the Kingdoms game.
“We wanted to give all NFT holders more utility and opportunities to display their NFTs and participate in the meta universe. The inter-network identity creates a safe and easy way to do this without putting your assets at risk,” said Harmony spokesman Leo Chen.
Similarly, last month Twitter launched a feature that allows paid subscribers to showcase their NFTs as profile images.
