The Japanese technology giant has partnered with KDDI telecom company to test the system of retail payments verified by the user’s fingerprint. Thus, customers can use vouchers, pay for services and verify payments using a fingerprint scanner. As representatives of Hitachi explain, the customer will need to register a voucher and verify himself using biometric information. The store will then act as a block-node and verify the identity of the buyer with the help of a fingerprint.
