HSBC has started offering tokenized gold to customers in Hong Kong

HSBC has launched its own tokenized gold for retail customers in Hong Kong.

The product is called Gold Token and can be purchased through online banking.

HSBC used HSBC’s private blockchain, HSBC Orion, to tokenize the asset.
