According to News1, the Korean division of cryptocurrency exchange Huobi Korea intends to sever its relationship with Huobi Global and start its own business.
More than half of Huobi Korea is owned by Leon Lin, the founder of Huobi Global. Other major shareholders in the company are Joe Guk-Bong and Korea Land Trust.
According to the publication, Joe Guk-Bong plans to buy a controlling stake from Lin.
