Layer 2 blockchain Immutable presented ApeCoin DAO with a proposal to create an Otherside meta-universe on its network: Immutable X.
Immutable’s proposal notes that the cost of integrating, minting and transferring assets into the network will be zero, with only a 2% fee for primary and secondary sales. The proposal goes on to say that Immutable has been working for years to bridge “the gap between high-tech and sophisticated blockchain technology and mass adoption.”
Immutable X is a platform designed to create and trade NFTs. It is a Layer 2 solution for the Ethereum blockchain. The platform is currently used by OpenSea, TikTok and GameStop.
The company’s proposal claims that its scalable network, free transactions and carbon-neutral environment make it best suited to the meta-universe.
Earlier, Avalanche Blockchain put forward a similar proposal.
