In the first quarter of 2022, Binance will burn more than $740 million worth of BNB tokens

According to trackers, BNB Chain will burn more than 1.8 million BNB coins in the first quarter.
“BNB to the tune of $741840738 will soon be retired,” confirmed Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao in a tweet.
The data shows that the burn will take place at an average price of $403 per BNB.
BNB is using an automatic incineration system to reduce the total amount of coins to 100,000,000 BNB. The automatic burn mechanism adjusts the number of BNBs burned based on the BNB price and the number of blocks generated in the BSC smart chain during the quarter.
