Melania Trump announced that her husband, former U.S. President Donald Trump, will release a digital NFT collection.
The collection, called POTUS TRUMP NFT, will go on sale on Feb. 21, a U.S. federal holiday called President’s Day.
POTUS TRUMP NFT will consist of 10 original digital artworks designed to highlight “iconic” moments of Donald Trump’s reign.
A total of 10,000 NFTs will be presented, divided into platinum and gold levels.
Melania said the image of each NFT will not be revealed until after purchase.
“I am proud to be expanding my NFT platform and am honored to have the opportunity to tell the iconic moments of our country’s history. I look forward to collaborating with others to offer really special, authentic pieces of U.S. history,” she commented.
Donald Trump has previously criticized cryptocurrencies and called them a scam.
