Ukrainian bank Monobank has restricted the direct withdrawal of funds from cryptocurrency exchanges.
The bank said that direct transfers related to electronic funds – are prohibited, as the institution can not establish their connection with the prohibited activities. This is spelled out in clause 4.3 of the Client Service Rules.
A similar problem exists with PrivatBank.
Earlier, in order to reduce capital outflows, the National Bank of Ukraine introduced a monthly limit on the purchase of cryptocurrencies of 100 thousand hryvnias.
In Binance reported that some banks do not have the technical ability to control the limit, so they are forced to block all transactions so as not to violate the restrictions.
However, P2P transactions still continue to work.
