The company says it will be forced to leave the Chinese market entirely.
STEPN is a popular game based on Solana and BNB Chain.
On July 15, Stepn will remove all accounts registered in mainland China as required by local law.
Until then, the platform is advising Chinese users to sell their assets.
Amid this news, the price of the GMT gaming token has fallen by more than 30% in the last 24 hours.
However, the company said that users from mainland China account for 5% of the platform’s total user base.
