Indonesian cryptocurrency exchange Pintu has raised $113 million in a Series B funding round with investments from venture capital firms Intudo Ventures, Lightspeed Venture Partners and Pantera Capital, as well as investment advisory firm Northstar Group.
Pintu plans to use the funds raised to expand the functionality of the exchange. Specifically, the company will use the funding to develop DeFi, NFT, expand blockchain support and increase staffing.
Last year, the exchange doubled the size of its team to 200 people.
