Deputy Chairman of Sberbank Anatoly Popov said that within a month Sberbank will conduct its first deal with digital financial assets (DFA). The transaction itself will be conducted on the bank’s own platform. This was reported by the publication TASS.
“We are watching the development of new technologies, including in the field of distributed registries, studying how blockchain technologies are developing. At the moment there are a lot of projects that use them, and in Sberbank, of course, so are we. In spring, we were included in the register of operators of information systems that issue digital financial assets. Our platform has already passed acceptance tests, and the first transaction will take place within a month,” Popov said.
