Solana Validators has completed a network restart after a seven-hour outage.
Developers reported that “Solana Mainnet beta lost consensus after a huge number of incoming transactions (4 million per second) filled the network, exceeding 100 Gbps.”
Developers are still figuring out why the network failed to recover from the transaction failure.
Last September, the Solana network went down after being overwhelmed by hundreds of thousands of transactions per second and was down for 17 hours.
