South Korea’s Privacy Commission has launched an investigation into Worldcoin.

The regulator has received complaints about the project because of its collection of citizens’ personal information.

The commission will take action against the project if it finds any violation of local regulations.

Notably, the regulator also previously fined OpenAI $2703 for leaking the data of 687 South Korean citizens through ChatGPT.
