Spain’s finance ministry plans to increase monitoring of cryptocurrencies in the country.

The regulator wants to seize crypto assets of citizens who have tax debts.

On February 1, a decree came into force in the country, which expanded the list of organizations that have the authority to collect tax information. Until then, only banks were authorized to collect tax information.
