Swiss state bank PostFinance will begin offering its customers cryptocurrencies.
It became possible thanks to the bank’s partnership with Sygnum Bank.
In particular, PostFinance will offer storage and trading services for BTC and ETH.
According to Fritz Jost, chief B2B director at Sygnum Bank, PostFinance’s decision to switch to cryptocurrency was in part due to an outflow of funds from retail banks in Switzerland into the digital asset class.
