Telegram has enabled the social network’s 550 million users to send and receive Toncoin in the app through its official “wallet” bot.
Users can also buy bitcoin in the bot.
The TON Foundation said that the main goal of the project is to make sending Toncoin “similar to sending a message.”
“We expect this feature to extend to payments between customers and businesses so that people can easily purchase goods and services by sending toncoin through bots in the Telegram app,” the developers said.
