Cameron Winklevoss, co-founder of cryptocurrency exchange Gemini, wrote an open letter to Digital Currency Group (DCG) CEO Barry Silbert.
Digital Currency Group is the parent company of the troubled Genesis site.
According to Winklevoss, Jan. 2 was 47 days since Genesis stopped withdrawing funds. According to the letter, Genesis owes Gemini $900 million.
“Every time we ask for your tangible involvement, you hide behind lawyers, investment bankers and various processes,” said Winklevoss.
He added that DCG owed its subsidiary Genesis $1.67 billion, making it unable to repay its debts to Gemini.
Silbert himself began denying the allegations.
