The Dubai Virtual Asset Regulatory Authority (VARA) on Tuesday announced plans to establish its headquarters in The Sandbox meta-universe.
“Our presence in the metaworld marks the beginning of a new phase of the Dubai government’s move toward the future,” said Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai’s Executive Council.
The virtual headquarters “will serve as the main channel for attracting virtual asset service providers around the world.
