Polygon Labs CEO Marc Boiron criticized L3 solutions and said that Ethereum doesn’t need them.
He said that L3s do not contribute in any way to scaling existing networks and are only needed to move value from Ethereum to the L2s on which L3s are built.
Helus Labs CEO Mert Mumtaz is of the same opinion. He previously stated that L2 is not yet optimized, but developers have already moved on to building L3.
In his opinion, L3 is a regular centralized server hosted on a similarly centralized L2.
