The new blockchain will be called Terra, while the current version of the chain will be renamed Terra Classic.
Terra 2.0 will appear on the main network on Friday, May 27.
Once launched, LUNA 2.0 tokens will be available for trading. These tokens will be distributed to existing interested parties on the network at a predetermined percentage.
Moreover, the new Terra blockchain will exist without the UST token, which was originally its main purpose.
