Opera announced a partnership with the Yat platform, which allows you to create domains (URLs) based on emoji.
Yat allows Internet users to own personalized strings of emoji and use them as universal digital identifiers and wallet addresses, and release them on the Ethereum blockchain as NFTs.
Thus, the integration will allow Opera users to browse the Web by entering emojis instead of letters and words in the address bar. According to Opera’s executive vice president of mobile devices, Jorgen Arnesen, “emojiification” is a “new, easier and more fun” way to find pages.
Among the first Yat account holders are famous musicians such as Lil Wayne, Steve Aoki, G-Eazy Kesha, Young Money, 3LAU and Disclosure.
