A Turkish prosecutor has asked for up to 40564 years in prison for the CEO of Turkish cryptocurrency exchange Thodex, as well as 21 employees of the company.
The exchange’s CEO, Faruk Fatih Ozer, is now a wanted man.
The government accuses the defendants of creating a criminal organization, fraud and money laundering.

The indictment states that total losses to investors from the exchange were about $24 million. However, Chainalysis said the losses were estimated at $2.6 billion.
