Congressman Pete Sessions said that bitcoin would be an enabler in restoring U.S. energy independence. Senator Cynthia Lummis was also among the supporters of his opinion.
Sessions also added that bitcoin “is consistent with American values and will strengthen the dollar.”
Senator Ted Cruz and Governor Greg Abbott noted that mining would bring new jobs and taxes.
