The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) has begun testing a DAO concept based on the Polygon blockchain.
This was announced by Arun Maharajan, the organization’s head of Web3.
He added that the DAO is needed to better inform the new Digital Public Goods (DPG) features.
UNICEF also piloted Snapshot’s onchain voting platform.
According to Maharajan, this will allow projects to use DAOs to fund new services voted on by the community.
