U.S. Internet media company Yahoo has announced that it will hold a series of virtual events and concerts for Hong Kong residents in the Decentraland metaconsecurity.
According to Yahoo Hong Kong’s head of audience relations, Lorraine Cheng, the company sees the metaconset as an attractive alternative for Hong Kong residents who want to engage in social activities during quarantine restrictions.
Yahoo will also launch an NFT exhibition called The Abyss of Kwun Tong, in which local artists will recreate the historic Kwun Tong neighborhood in virtual space.
