At the NFT auction the world famous meme of Coffin Dance – the dancing African undertakers was sold. The initiative was led by the participants themselves and the authors of the video.
In the announcement of the auction, the heroes said that they were selling the video to support Ukraine.
NFT was sold for 327 ETH ($1.046 million).
25% of the proceeds will go to Ukraine’s Come Back Alive Foundation, another 25% will go to the advertising agency Bads, and the remaining 50% will go to support African culture.
