The cost of Bitcoin transactions has fallen from $25 to $3 in just a few months. Experts suggest that this is due to the decline in demand for transactions. In December total number of transactions was around 400 000 per day, whereas today it’s under 200 000 in the past 24hrs. In addition, SegWit implementation also reduces the fees and increases blockchain bandwidth.
