A French national has pleaded guilty to selling drugs on the dark web after national police were able to trace his criminal activities through his bitcoin accounts. Police has arrested 36-year-old Gal Vallerius already in September. Vallerius admitted selling oxycodone and Ritalin on the Dream Market and signed a guilty plea after trying for nine months to escape a lifetime prison sentence. Police found out that Vallerius used the name OxyMonster on the Dark Web, known as a Dream Market. Gal pleaded guilty to conspiracy to launder money and to possess with intent to distribute illicit goods and controlled substances, instead a lifetime prison sentence, he faces a possible 20 years. This case again is showing how important is blockchain technology nowadays.
