One Reddit user reported that the Bitstamp exchange has blocked his account.
Presumably this happened because of his Russian citizenship.
“In light of the current events in Ukraine and related regulatory guidelines, we have been forced to disable the ability to deposit, withdraw and trade on your account. When we receive information from the regulatory partners that we can restore these capabilities to your account, we will let you know,” the exchange said in a letter.
However, the exchange did not report the blocking of the user from Russia in its official sources and social networks.
