Canadian bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) assets have risen to record highs, according to a recent Glassnode survey. Notably, spot products are leading the way.
Canadian bitcoin ETFs have increased their holdings by 6,594 BTC since January, hitting an all-time high of 6,9052 BTC.
According to Glassnode, the spot Purpose Bitcoin ETF saw the largest increase in assets over the period, 18.7%.
Glassnode also noted that the rate of cryptocurrency outflows from exchanges has reached a 2022 high. The exchanges are withdrawing 96200 BTC per month.
“Despite the many macroeconomic and geopolitical hurdles of recent months, it is very impressive to see such strong outflows from exchanges, as well as inflows into products such as ETFs, DeFi and savings wallets,” the company noted.
