All of these companies already use Bitwage service, which allows them to pay salary to their employees in fiat currency and cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Dash. For this, the employee should firstly get Bitwage account number and pass it to the employer, indicating the percentage of salary that should be paid in cryptocurrency.
Bitwage was launched in 2013 and since then has gained presence all over the European Union. Other companies are following this example, such as Chinese conglomerate GMO Internet, which has over 60 companies in 10 countries, claims that their employees will be partially paid in BTC by end of March this year.
