World’s largest search engine said that their policy on financial product will change in June this year and company will issue an updated list of restrictions, blacklisting ad content “including but not limited to initial coin offerings (ICO), cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency trading advice.” This ban will also affect Google’s both proprietary and affiliated advertisement platforms. Just like Facebook did earlier this year, Google is acting in line with state and federal US regulations to crack down on ICOs.
