Italian brand Gucci announced that it will begin accepting cryptocurrency payments in five of its stores in the U.S. by the end of the month and plans to expand the service to all of its 111 stores in North America.
Gucci will accept 12 cryptocurrencies, including bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Ethereum (ETH), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Litecoin (LTC), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Dogecoin (DOGE) and five dollar-stablecoins.
Buyers will be sent an email with a QR code to pay.
In addition, employees have begun training on cryptocurrencies, NFT and Web3.
